At $149 a month, the Hims and Hers membership equals or exceeds the medication price on their lowest-cost brand option. Oral Wegovy tablets at $149 medication become $298 all-in — double.

For comparison, the identical oral Wegovy tablets are $149 direct from NovoCare with no membership at all. A patient buying through the platform is paying $1,788 a year for the service layer.

The $39 first-month membership is introductory and rises to $149.

Where it is competitive, and where it is not

At $348 all-in for the Wegovy pen and $448 for Zepbound, Hims and Hers sit above PlushCare's $319 for Zepbound and well above manufacturer-direct pricing. Our dataset also flags one listing — a Hers KwikPen price — as unconfirmed, because Lilly's vial-only self-pay programme does not include the pre-filled KwikPen. Verify at checkout.

Hers also lists brand Mounjaro at $1,899 medication plus $149 membership, or $2,048 all-in — the highest single figure in our entire dataset. No manufacturer self-pay programme exists for Mounjaro, but Zepbound is the identical molecule at $299 to $449 direct.

What the membership buys

Ongoing clinical access, messaging and a consumer platform many patients already use for other categories. Whether that is worth $1,788 a year alongside medication is a judgement, but it should be made with the manufacturer-direct price in view.
